The next ITP-Hawaii course is planned for 18-29 August 2014. Topics to be covered will be tsunami warning and emergency response standard operating procedures, and the interpretation and use of the new PTWC Enhanced Forecast Products. An IOC Circular Letter inviting nominees was sent to ICG/PTWS and ICG/CARIBE-EWS Tsunami National Contacts and Tsunami Warning Focal Points requesting nominations by 25 June 2014. Selections were made in July. About 25 participants from South America, Central America, Pacific Island Countries, Southeast Asia, and Oman will take part.
